I disagree with your opinion on Forbort/defense and Reilly's contract but yes, they should move one D if they were to get Chychrun which I don't see happening. Even with a top4 D, they still need a 2nd line center.
Bingo. You either take care of both deficiencies or you don't do anything. Giving up the future (Lysell and 2022 1st) while not addressing 2C is just shooting yourself in the foot.

Yup they still need a 2nd line center, and with his comments on Cassidy, he isn't gonna comeback. Haula did a pretty nice job with Hall and Pastrnak tho. Not a long term solution but for short term I think it's ok with a 3rd line center like Coyle.
A good 3C does not in any way make up for a below average 2C. The Bruins have 3 options as I see it.
1. Limp into the playoffs with their current lineup plus a tweak or two for a first round spanking while keeping the best of their limited prospects as well as 1sts in the next two well regarded drafts.
2. Half ass it by addressing only one of their two glaring deficiencies (top 4D, 2C) while giving away a good part of the future (Lysell, 2022 1st).
3. Go all in by totally mortgaging the future knowing full well that there will be multiple teams with as good a shot or better at the Cup than the Bruins.
As you can tell my choice is curtain 1 but I don't begrudge anyone the other choices or even a 4th option.
