I think Muzzin will be traded after July 1st, 2023 when his signing bonus is paid and he is only owed $2 MIL with a $5.625 Cap Hit...compared to Brodie who will be owed $7.5 MIL on a $5 MIL cap hit. Brodie is with us 'til the end.

I think Campbell will get a 5 year deal somewhere around $5.5 average. I suspect a huge signing bonus although the structure is not as flexible with the new COVID CBA. The highest paid year can't be that different from the lowest paid year now.

Why would the Rangers trade for Ritchie? They didn't want to pay him last off season as a free agent, so there is zero chance they give up a bag of pucks for him.

Muzzin isn't waiving for Arizona. No team is taking Ritchie's contract. Always find it interesting that Leafs fans don't want the competent 2m Holl and 1.5m Dermot. So they trade them, and then think they are better off with 1m replacement signing.
