I like Giroux, I just don't think I like him enough to give up something like this but this is probably ballpark for his price.

I think if Giroux is on the market, I think he gets a bit more than this....a late 1st, a 3rd a yr away and a mid to upper midlevel prospect (a 4th round choice) seems a tad light. Maybe the 3rd has to be in 2022 and not 2023 or the prospect has to be better, but I dont think hunt moves the barometer)

Hunt is a B+ defense prospect, with 2nd pairing potential. He can also play both sides and would of made the WJC roster for Canada this year if he hadn't been injured blocking a shot in the final game of training selection camp against USports.

He's better than you give him credit for.

Probably, I wasn;t saying Hunt is bad, its just a position that Philly is deep in and Hunt probably fits it, AT BEST, as their 4th best defensive prospect (Cam York and Zamula are next in line) and more likely is closer to other WJC Flyer prospects Mason Millman, Wyatt Wylie and Ronnie Attard.
