Description

Domi trade was suggested in an earlier AGM with a CBJ fan suggesting we add Ritchie to equal out the value. I took returning Toronto's 4th out too on CBJs side out to close it a bit more.

Pysyk I think is the hidden gem in Buffalo. Everyone on here is trading Miller but his underlying numbers aren't great after the hot start to the season the team had. Pysyk however is their defensive zone starting/pking specialist and he's still doing rather well. Plus he'll be cheap, both in assets to trade for and in cap hit.

Ugh, I don't think Mark Pysyk is worth a 3rd rounder, he's only a 7th/8th defender at best, and even though one could argue that Holl, Ritchie, and Engvall are nothing but cap dumps, you still shouldn't need a 1st rounder to sweeten the pot to get Domi with how he's playing. The Leafs would just become yet another team trading away consecutive 1st rounders

I don't think the Jackets desire the players coming back in this deal. The only reason they would take this is for the first. If Toronto doesn't want to trade the first they should be able to find someone else who would.

Sure. I'd love to have Miller but the cost there is restrictive. They'll have to outbid 25 other teams while trying to ask for retention too.
