now that Matthews isnt on the Leafs .... he's no longer the best player in the NHL and he's overpaid lol.

Kinda like Kotkaniemi became a total overpaid bust over a rushed slowly developing prospect playing unfitting mid-6 role immediately after he left the Habs.

To be fair, the weird group of Leafs fans who don't like nice things make daily "Marner is a bum! He's overpaid!" and "wHy DiD wE sIgN pJ bOi?!?!" threads. If any fan base calls their players out for "being overpaid", I feel like Leafs fans (The weird part of the group...) are #1.

only certain players though. Matthews could literally get 0 points this year and they would build a statue for him... Marner can score 100+ points and he sucks.... they are just recently coming around to the idea Nylander is a great value... might actually be heading to the polar opposite.... one fan claimed he would ask the oilers LD and let them hangup on him lol. all in good fun anyway
