Considering they may lose Hamonic, they can't afford to lose Myers now. Maybe if you reworded it to include a guy like DeMelo -- but as is, I don't see VAN considering this deal.

I think it would cost Vancouver more than that to dump Myers' contract and it wouldn't be to Winnipeg. The Jets would need to move players that are a lot better than Myers to fit in his cap and a first along with a press boxer aren't enough incentive to screw up their cap.

Myers is negative value to other teams from a financial side, but his value internally on what he brings to the team is positive. He is good at what he does, but not as good as he is paid. We have no reason to move him right now.
