Sens are super high on Zub, for a good reason. They arent moving him. Tierney could be shipped, but not for this package.
At this point, I think its smartest for the Pens to keep Zucker and see what he can really do. Hopefully, he can turn his game around and go back to his old form.
I also dont see MIN having any interest in Pettersson with the likes of Brodin and Goligoski on their LD.

Sens arnt gonna trade Zub. As a Pens fan I wouldnt be a fan of getting Tierney either. I think they could do a lot better for Zucker(retaining salary too) Legare and a 3rd. Even with Zub in the trade.

Minnesota just signed Gaudreau this offseason. Pens wernt able to re-sign him. Believe me, I would have lived for the Pens to have resigned him. Especially over E-Rod or D.Simon. But they didn’t. I don’t know why either. But I don’t see Minnesota signing a UFA and trading him b4 he plays one game.

With Zucker's retention, it's actually not that bad but moot point because Zub isn't going anywhere. They need him much more than Zucker

Légaré is one of the Pens best prospects but Sens have too many quality prospects at this point and need to evaluate them. Angus Crookshank was voted #17 in a pool voted by Sens fans. And that was with Stutzle and Norris being considered graduated

Crookshank is not a "throw in" prospect like this trade would make you think, another kid that the Sens are pretty high on.

Also, check the praise Angus Crookshank has received since turning pro (while putting 16 pts in his first 19 AHL games)

Type his name in google news

Among those trying to make themselves noticed is 21-year-old winger Angus Crookshank. The first thing you see from the 5-11 winger, other than the fact he has a great hockey name, is his willingness to get involved, his speed and strong offensive instincts around the net.

The good news for Crookshank is that the North Vancouver native already turned some heads with last spring’s performance with Belleville. He finished with five goals and 11 assists for 16 points in 19 games. A fifth-round pick in the 2018 NHL draft, he’s been given the proper time to develop while working with coaches Shean Donovan and Jesse Winchester.

Winchester has been impressed with the steps Crookshank has made and compared his style of play to that of feisty Montreal winger Brendan Gallagher. Every opponent around the NHL will tell you that Gallagher is a pain to play against despite his size and that’s a pretty good role model for Crookshank.

“He continues to impress. He works his tail off every day and he wants to get better and he’s pretty darn skilled,” Winchester said. “I love his attitude. I love what he brings and he’s going to challenge guys this week and into next week.

“In our chats with him, and trying to help him along, we always used Brendan Gallagher as a comparison. He’s not in that realm yet, but you’re talking about a smaller guy that’s relentless, who goes to the net with hard skill and has a knack for finishing. It’s all those kinds of things. Now it’s about maturing that game and growing into that mould.”

Was he surprised with his production with Belleville? No, because has confidence in his abilities.

“No, I don’t think so. I’m pretty confident in my abilities and what I can do as a player,” Crookshank said.”Not to sound cocky or anything, but I think, if you want to be successful in anything in life, you have to have that swagger/confidence to you. I was very lucky to be put in some good spots by the coaching staff and all I had to do was make the best of my opportunity.”
