What an overpay

I could live with it. It’s an overpay, but no ones giving a top 6 center away for free. Plus we manage to upgrade while keeping Laf and Kakko. Not sure if Detroit takes it. Gonna need input from their fans.

This is the kind of overpayment that would get us interested.

There are a few minor problems with what you're offering though. Hájek is not a good fit, we already have 8 defenders for the upcoming season, replace him with Karl Henriksson. Robertson is a LD and we already have a glut of prospects on LD, replace him with Nils Lundkvist.

If you do those two changes I'd be prepared to think long and hard about giving up Larkin.

If you're gonna crazy overpay then sure take Larkin.

Certainly the Wing would be interested in any deal for for two years of Larkin till UFA. If the Wings get a deeper/better team with a Larkin trade, Larkin would be even more motivated to return to Detroit as a UFA.

Correction...that's package you offer for an eichel trade which is why you don't have eichel.

This is a massive overpay. Larkin is a great player but is not as good as Zibenejad and frankly has produced less than Strome over the last two years (obviously much worse linemates).

But he would get a first and a good prospect and a young player. But this is too much I think

I think you and Lancebmx said Miller, Chytil and a 1st would get it done but its unlikely that it will happen.

If it cost more we don’t do it.

I don't see the Rangers doing it at that price. That's what it would take to get him out of Detroit.
