I think Vancouver should accept this one

If we had fired Benning and this was a new guy who could get away with a building move than maybe. But JB can't trade Miller for bottom 10 NHL cap dump even with the decent package that is here. There are teams that should consider this deal but it's not Vancouver.

Canucks fans need to chill with the overvaluation of Miller. He has played one season over ppg and isn't a notable play driver. There is no way anyone pays three 1st rounders for him.

This package isn't just evaluating Miller. It's explaining how much someone would have to pay to get rid of the useless player that is Drouin.

Drouin isn't useless lmao. He still is a 30+ point player. He just gets paid like a 60-point guy. Dumping two years of him would not cost even a 1st rounder.

And here is where we find the discrepancy in this trade.

He would cost either a first or a first and Guhle.

He is a 30 point player if you force feed him top minutes and top opportunities. And he is a problem for your team every day.

He's basically Max Domi but slightly less toxic.

Or are you saying anyone would pay that for Miller, because that's an overpay too. Reinhart just went for a 1st and an above-average goalie prospect, and he is better than Miller
