The kid looks like he's going to be a good player. Right now there is no comparison, Marner is in a different category then Caufield and always will be. When Caufield finishes in the to 4 in league scoring habs fans can come talk to me.

exactly. marner is underrated now. because his contract is too much for a guy who doesnt usually perform in the playoffs but his regular seasons are always amazing

Overall skills wise, I would probably have Marner on top but at some point you need to score too and marner just doesn’t deliver when it counts. 0 goals in the playoffs is not enough for the cap space he takes. Caufield never disappoints on high quality chances.

His last 19 playoff games including the bubble. 4 goals 13 assists = 17 points. He didn't score a goal against the habs and had 1 less point then Matthews. Matthews last 19 playoff games he has 17 points. Hyman last 19 playoff games he had 5 points. Hyman will not be missed come playoff time
