Kaprizov has been offered that contract plus. He doesn't want term, as stated by someone else he wants the Panarin deal. After the new collective bargaining deal you can no longer offer conditions like you have here on draft picks so you either send the 1st or you don't. Your offer is probably a overpay, but as was also stated it doesn't make sense for Minnesota you could just send money back to Minnesota in the form of expiring contracts and maybe add a prospect, for the salary dump.

Minnesota Wild aren't trading kaprizov. Neither is he eligible for offer sheet or wild will ever trade him. Wild aren't going to be trading Kaprizov for a player in Vincent trocheck who wild can get in 1 year if they wanted him. Brady isn't needed, or wanted either so this package is beyond bad.

The CBA does allow conditions on picks. Just no longer depending on if a player resigns or not

I think if the Wild are trading Kaprizov, they need at least one blue chip piece back. This is an okay package, but Jarvis would need to replace something here. This is a lot of complementary pieces.
