We are still doing these? Really? If i had a nickel for every time this has been posted I could buyout John Moore myself. 🙄

This could be said with all 31 NHL teams, Do you honestly think that Barzal, Chabot and Connor would be viable long term? You're basically looking at a combined $27,000,000 for all 3 players long term. And that's giving Barzal $10,000,000 per and Connor $9,000,000 per long term.

My guess is had this happened he would have been used as trade bait at some point. At the time Chara/Krug/Grizz was as good as left side as their was. He would have been buried in minors for as long as Lauzon and Zboril were who were drafted the same year. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thomas Chabot was available when Boston picked 13th, 14th and 15th

Drafting him wouldn't have changed the past. WTF? lol

Maybe you should try to be a bit more "simple minded"

Btw, I simply made a comment about how sexy that pairing would be and actually have NEVER seen this done before... so since you said "this ACGM has been done thousands of times already", it looks like you have been the one wasting time with this...

Maybe you should also try to be not too simple minded? I'm not sure which but follow your advice.

And one last thing, I am not taking it personally as I don't give a crap but found your comment ugly so thought you needed to be ridiculed because you look like the simple mind to me.

He meant Mac. You alter the 2015 draft you alter the standings and team needs. Maybe Boston drafts later and Mac not there. Maybe someone takes him earlier.

Sorry I was just pissed off at his comment, He basically called the OP simple minded.

        Also added this :

However McAvoy was drafted 1 year later so not sure Boston would have had a different pick having different prospects in their system?

And he was right to do it. This is the 10,000th of these ACGMs

Right to call people "simple minded" because they are curious about something? lol this is so wrong and hilarious

Like I said, since I'm not a Bruins fan/hater, I have actually never seen these "ACGMs" before. Simple curiosity made me visit this thread

Even though I knew and read many times that Boston could have done better in that 2015 draft, I actually never looked into it to see what would have been the result of making different choices... Found it interesting and the only comment I made was that Chabot-MacAvoy would be sexy (and my ideal 1st pairing)

No I didn't take it personal but I found your "simple minded" comment simply offending in general. My best friend's sister is simple minded for real. My brother in law has a son with down syndrome, he is simple minded. Just because you don't find something interesting or because you've seen it several times before doesn't give you the right to call those who do this way. Maybe OP is a troll and does this just to provoke Bruins fans, I don't know but still, your comment was ugly no matter how you put it.

So yes you ridiculed yourself by showing what kind of simple minded tool you are. The funny thing is you have the nerves to call out others this way.

I’m just a hater of lazy, unoriginal repetition. There has no joke probably been 1,000+ of the exact same ACGM.

So you didn't take it personal, but you're offended because of things in your personal life?

BTW the definition of simpleminded by the dictionary: having or showing very little intelligence or judgment.

^assuming you can change 3 picks and it having zero impact on anything in the future is showing very little intelligence or judgement....which is the definition of simpleminded. Again you don't like it then move on or block me. Tell you what I'll do you one better and just block you myself. I don't have time for someone who is always looking for a way to be offended. Oh, BTW I've worked with the disabled and I've worked with special Olympics hosting local events, so please spare me your white knight schtick.

Reply if you want, but I'm not going to see it.

p.s. funny its so offensive to you, but you're trying to call me simpleminded now. Maybe practice what you preach instead of trying to find a way to constantly be offended.

        cheers

Yes me too, and you're right : society in general is somewhat lazy today

Even if you saw this many times before, keep in mind others might have never seen it (like me) and that's the reason why I was enamored with a Chabot-McAvoy pairing... I was not trolling or twisting the knife in the wound

If the OP created an account and this thread just to provoke Bruins fans, this is really childish and stupid.

But all that being said, the "simple minded" comment has no place and should be called out, like many other words in society have been called out

The fact that you worked with disabled and special olympics makes it more weird because you should know better.

You know the definition, you know yourself it's offensive. It's actually very close to another word that is not accepted anymore AFAIK (re***ded).

Like I said, I am not offended personally. I skipped 2 classes in high school and not because I was studying. I was actually doing **** all. Without giving you an extensive resume, don't worry I won't get offended if you tell me "you're stupid"

But what you said still is offensive. Not that I find everything offensive. The "N" word for example, I didn't know it was offensive back then as I always had several black friends and my wife is actually half black... but I respect that it could offend other people so I don't say it anymore. It's a word I once was allowed to say to my family-in-law and friends as I had their "approval" and thought it was just cool.

To me a white supremacist is simple minded for example. People that are not able to accept other's differences or adjust to respect people limits (aka haters), these are the really stupid ones, not people with handicaps they didn't choose.

You could have just said "yeah I admit what I said was a little harsh" and we could have moved on. I would have been even impressed by that

But anyway, I'm not pissed anymore, you're not the only person using offensive words/terms on the internet. We all make mistakes, I'm not going to condemn you but it was wrong
