going off Mcdavid is 96 because he should be or higher
Added in a few rookies like Roberston and Lilypad and some extra goalies and anderson since i think hes the marlie who will get a shot back in the NHL

Fair except for brodie and dermott going down by 2. can see 1 tho. Brodie is great
I think going off mcdavid being that or higher the top 3 can be that high and sandin is a rookie who was good in the small sample so hard to rate

My reasoning for those was --- Dermott has struggled to hold down a roster spot, so I don't think an 81OA player would do that. And for Brodie -- I think he's solid, but he doesn't have the offensive upside to bring his numbers up that much -- and Muzzin is the better overall defender there too. So I can't justify having Brodie ahead of Muzzin.

I'm assuming McDavid would be 96 or 97 in this scenario, so it would put Matthews at 94 --- but I could also see Marner at 91 and Matthews at 93

93-92 is the max he should be at 95 is bonkers

matthews is one of the best scoring centers and overall players in th league. 94 is his lowest he should get
Marner low would be 91 and tavares deserves to be 90+. Hes still a great Center.

Sandin is med elite but playing NHL games i rather have High top 4

Wow theyve changed the terms.

In general I hate the way it works. Essentially an nhler is in a range of about 18 points (78-96) and if you take out the top like 15 it's a range of 12 points (78-90). It's just too stupidly tight.

A proper spread would have like an engvall at like 55 and a Matthews at 95.

Marner is somewhat a benefactor of Matthews. Marner shouldn't be that high IMO, drop him to 89...90 at most; in other words, he's no Patrick Kane who has never played next to a Matthews type of center.

Matthews should be 1 or 2 points below McDavid because he's that good, but McDavid is better no doubt.

Matthews did just well without marner. And marner did just well without top the point I rather have Marne replay with Tavares.

Yea I have McDavid at 96 so 94 is fine for Matthews. Marner will get a high rating because he a playmaking Pk winger. I also think kane should be way higher than be is too

I would have Sandin high top 4 too 80 OV same as Romanov for Matthews He’s not in the same class as McDavid and Mack so 92-93 at best for Marner not higher than 90-91 AT BEST and Tavares is just so overrated now 87 and nobody can change my mind

It's to a point with the overall Tavares slander that I'm about to say a 11m player is underrated.
Matthews is up there with MacKinnon on being the 2nd best after McDavid for centers
