Kane will be Kane no matter where he is. He needs some serious therapy and a bunch of quaaludes to calm him down - and Crosby is not a doctor and quaaludes are not produced anymore (that i know of)

I don't really think Kane is worth the gamble. Accused of betting on his own games and he is currently bankrupt. But the type of player he is what the pens do need. Gritty, physical, can skate and shoot. a shame he has so much baggage.
But ill play devil' advocate. if this trade were to happen you have to take SJ to the cleaners. Many veteran players have said they won't play for SJ if Kane is still there. The buy out window has passed so the Sharks are desperate. Zucker in the deal is fine but why include matheson? I would say take Kane, get SJ to retain at least 2mil on salary and get a high pick or prospect for Zucker Alone. Getting rid of Kane is worth it to the sharks and zucker is on a much shorter friendly contract.
