Have some respect for Rielly and his value. You pair him with any decent defenseman and his value is even higher. Maybe he's not quite Seth Jones, but offensively he can produce. If CBJ is asking for an army for 1 year of Jones, Toronto should be asking for a bit less for 1 year of Rielly. Especially considering Jones might get 8M plus on a new deal and it's possible to think Rielly would take 6.5M on a new deal.

Ok the difference with Jones and Rielly is one is legitimately being shopped with an intended extension in place and the other isn't being shopped at all, let alone any extension discussion.
