I see this as a not great deal for Edmonton. Reinhart is definitely worth a lot and would be an asset especially with the Neal cap dump. Issue is we fill our hole on 1LW but open up 2 roster holes from guys with cheap contracts that we need to now replace.

Risto, Thompson and Asplund won't be exposed. There is nobody worth taking from BUF.

A. that still leaves Borgen who was one of the most valuable names and who they should protect over 1 year of Risto.

The team has 0 forwards, and they're moving their 2 best forwards on top of that, they arent going to move them for a RHD prospect, its the least of their worries

In the above scenario, you definitely don't have 0 forwards Plus with the above team you are likely lotto contenders again where you can have a shot at Shane Wright and you have more 1sts to go after forwards. The Sabres are like 5 years from competing so getting young quality assets makes a lot of sense.
