Not a bad first try but the values are a bit off. I like the players targeted but bean seems a long shot. Id love sandin and I think a deal for bert could happen but the 1st is too much on top though. Dunn, cool we all want that deal.

Habs for Bertz: Chiarot has we will lose him at the draft and you need a LD + A Prospect like Jordan Harris + late 1st?

Personally, I think Bean has at least as much value than Dunn, and Svech has zero value. So I don't think a 2nd does anything for Carolina in this deal.

If there's a deal to be made with a Toronto LD going to Detroit it's gotta be involving either Travis Dermott or Morgan Reilly. Our need for players to outplay their contracts is higher than needing a top LW. Dermott is promising, and I would love to keep him because I think he's going to pop off, and Morgan Reilly can't stay with the Leafs after this year with them being top heavy with the big 4.

Bertuzzi is GREAT. But if the cost to acquire him is anything as substantial as Sandin, then it's not worth it - we only need a player to stop gap the 1-2 years that we need to have Robertson and Amirov develop into top 6 contributors.

Svech has no value so essentially this is Bean for free. It’s tough to say what his value is bc of the Canes D situation at the moment with how things will shake out with dougie. A second is a starting point but would need to get much more imo to consider it. He still has a very high ceiling and is team controlled for a long time. Similar to Bert, you guys would have to overpay dramatically for canes to trade him so it’s unlikely.

Covered Bean in another post so won’t go there again. Bert trade is a massive overpay and Vegas doesn’t have to package fleury with a first to move him, he’s got value on a 1 year deal even if it is expensive.

Honestly, Sandin isn't going anywhere (unless it's some massive blockbuster or something). He's a lock for the team next year and our best prospect right now.
