Alright, by my math, the Islanders would need to get rid of Leddy AND Clutterbuck, keep Ladd buried in the AHL, and have both Sorokin and Beauvillier take cheaper, shorter term deals (3 and 5 respectively for 2 years), and they'd need to give up on resigning Palmeri and guys like Cizikas and Coburn. They may be able to swing it if they LTIR Boychuk though.

As for Suter, why not? Gives him a solid chance at a cup. And Klefbom being out another year, perhaps parting with him for an equally often injured forward and an incentive is a low risk high reward play for both GMs.
A Rakell for DeBrusk swap may be the change of scenery both players need, maybe drop the pick if need be.

And I never get tired of these, can we have an expansion draft every other year? Makes things so interesting. Like the last placed team can elect to dissolve their roster in favor of a new expansion draft but can only do it once every 10 years.
