there's no reason for us to trade tkachuk so you're gonna have to massively overpay to get calgary to consider it. kyrou's inclusion is an absolute must, and probably thomas as well, to not simply get denied immediately. this doesn't come close

Tkachuk will not be coming to STL this year. I know we all want it to happen, but it won't, and the rumor was unfounded to begin with. And Tarasenko wouldn't be the primary piece in the deal even if it were to happen. It starts with Kyrou, Dunn, 2021 1st round pick (STL) and that's likely not even enough unless CGY was actually pressured to deal him.

I think I would only veto the Hoffman signing. Oleksiak would be good to have as long assuming Dunn is traded or taken. Broissoit is not my first choice for backup but not terrible. But yeah, Flames aren't doing that.

Brossoit isn't even slightly worth 3x1.825, and I think Husso will develop past him soon enough. As for Oleksiak, he is one of the worst D-men in the league at exiting the zone safely and not even good at standing up the line when the other team tries to enter. I honestly have no idea why any Blues watcher would ever want him, we have routinely spit-roasted him over the years.
