I don't hate the top 6, i always worry about stamkos health. But if he just wants to come back for playoffs maybe we can land hall for regular season as well

Stammer is shot. I'm super happy he won 2 cups but he has nothing left at this point.

Dumping kadri is a good idea but stamkos is such a risk for a team thats right there on the edge of winning.

On the open market Grubauer gets at least 5 x $6,500,000 and Landeskog between 7 x $7,500,000 to 7 x $8,000,000 so very doubtful either would take discounts to stay in Colorado. This is probably Grubauers last chance to get a nice healthy contract.

I would go as far to say that next year Newhook himself will likely be as impactful as Stammer is at this point. It really is a shame because injuries robbed us of what may have been the most lethal scorer ever but this is far past injuries being 'a concern' they have already done their damage.

Landy will not be signed for $8,00,000 its a flat cap, the market has changed, he may get that price tag somewhere else, but if he wants to stay with the Avs he will be signed some where in the $6,850,000 - $7,250,000.
