A reason? Dobson was a top prospect who at 21 years old has 20 playoff games under his belt and has been improving at both ends of the ice each game he plays. They cannot replace him if they trade him. Beau is a young winger who plays a solid two way game. Beau for VT straight up is too much.

Tarasenko is a huge risk, with a big contract, forcing STL hand and has a full NTC. You’re not getting **** for him sorry to break it to you. They are not trading 2017 Tarasenko. His value has crumbled.

Taking into account their cap situation, which is not great atm, the offer you have, we would need to also take Ladd back. Even still, the deal stops at Beauvillier and especially Dobson being involved. Eberle, Wilde and a 2nd or Bellows is the very most we should ever expect from them.

Taresenko to the Isles doesn't make sense. I don't think Trotz's style suits Taresenko. Don't see why it would be nessecary for Lou to make that move. They are using the cap space they have to sign Pelech, Beau, and maybe Cizakas. I doubt Taresenko will help with the Isles scoring. It's clear he hasn't been the same and he's already 30.
