On no planet are the Avs trading both Newhook and Byram, and justifying it by saying you are retaining on Eichel is asinine. That bottom 6 is a train wreck. Bowers as 3C is wishful thinking at best, and I’m a Jost fan and all but him playing in the top 6 is not a recipe for success. The team is poorly constructed with half of it (the good half) wanting to skate and go, and the bad half not being able to play it. No bueno long term either.

Like last year when whoever was put out there the Avs were in on Price and the reported ask was Byram, Newhook and a 1st. Dude was full of it, but MTL fans went ape on that doing about 10 million ACGM with Price to COL.
