I’ll give you this much, that’s a trade buffalo would have to consider. The thing we love most about Sam Reinhart is he is willing to go to the net. That’s how he scores most of his goals. Most other players are perimeter level talents, they do their work on the outside, they rarely if ever go to the net. Petterson seems like a perimeter level player to me, a fantastic play maker with a good shot, but I don’t think he goes to the net. Roussel used to be the mucker and grinder who scored all his goals going to the net, just how much of a step has he lost? I know he’s not the player he was in Dallas. I haven’t seen Hoglander play yet. I ask these questions because Buffalo already has a lot of perimeter skill players. They need guys who will go to the net and score the dirty goals.
