Reinhart is a proven 25 yr old 0.75 ppg player, can play 1st line RW or 2C, Skinner was that for 5-6 yrs straight. I was thinking Skinner might be better with the pressure off in terms of offensive expectations being 5th-6th on Leafs behind AM, JT, WN and SR. I’ve assumed Skinner gets back to 0.5 ppg. Admittedly, I haven’t read anything about Skinners game and his major fall off is really bad, but I figure he can’t be a 0.75 ppg player for 6 yrs and then drop off as bad as he has last 2yrs for good. I think Marner can’t do it in Toronto, and I think 1 star in SR and 1 chance with upside in JS plus a good draft pick opportunity isn’t too far off of what might happen. Leafs also get a mid-round 2nd and 0.4M in cap space, maybe that mid round seconds a first instead. I couldn’t shake this deal from my head, maybe it’s as bad as the lmao comments and I just had to exorcise it lol.
