Voracek is old and makes a lot of money so he doesn’t have much value. Garland is a good piece and I’d say he has the same value as monahan. Gaudreau has way more value than voracek and a first.

I think Calgary needs a new core, and their current sub-average tandem of Gaudreau and Monahan is even slightly better than Garland and Voracek, who would fare much worse if tasked with carrying the entire offensive push of the Flames. I also think the Coyotes aren't exactly keen on moving Garland, he's one of the few bright spots down tere

Both players declined this year, but your Calgary bias blinds you to any trade unless your team is the clear cut winner.

Gaudreau had 40 primary points and voracek only had 20. So that’s a big difference. Gaudreau is miles better than voracek. I’ll bet you think Barrie is the best defensmen in the nhl.
