While I’m not the biggest fan of the DAL trade due to the puck being a mid 1st, you make up for it with the ANA trade.

However the “weak draft” mantra is wrong. While there is no definitive prospect like McDavid Matthews etc…, the top guys are all still VERY quality prospects.

Horrible Chicago trade. Olofsson is not going to be moved unless we are getting a solid pick or prospect back, not a roster player who is massively inconsistent. Also no reason to move Bryson and Chicago would have 0 interest in him seeing as their LHD pipeline is plugged up

Do u honestly think Matt berniers if their will be Sam Reinhart? That is question u have to ask. If he is even their most likely Seattle takes him. Then it is a defenseman. Then u will most likely have to wait 2-3 years. Ducks are not ready to win now but their group could use top line player who can play wing or center.

Reinhart isn’t worth a top 3 pick. Ducks would offer something like Steel, Perrault and ‘22 1st top 10 protected for Reinhart.

This is more in response to what Seattle will do at 2OA...looking at Francis' draft while at Carolina he seemed to want to build/draft from the D on out as his first 3 first round picks were D-men. Did the draft dictate that...I don't think so but maybe in 16 it did. Fleury in 14, Hanifin in 15 and Bean in 16 . 2016 was a strong year for D-men. He might just take the next best D on board should the Sabres take Power.

Also, mattering what comes back if Eichel and Reinhart are traded the Sabres could take Guenther a RW'er... then you have Quinn and Guenther as your future top 6 RW'ers
