Description
So my thoughts are yes the Sabres are going into a rebuild. It’s obvious, but they should try to sign some guys in free agency. They will have to over pay but when the team stinks next season trade the guys you sign to contenders for some more picks. Get as many picks as possible. Reinhart trade might be too rich for some but idk I think it’s alright. Maybe make the pick Lottery protected instead of top 5

Then I could see trading Comtois for him, but not the first unless it was top-5 protected. (You indicated in your Team Explanation that you were thinking of lowering the protection.)

Why do the Ilses need Henrique?

Barzal, Lee and Pageau..... I just don't see the fit there at all.

Good point I just figured why not add another bottom 6 guy for depth. But he doesn’t have to be traded to the Isles if the fit isn’t right.

I think the kings trade is pretty bad. Maybe you rate vilardi over turcotte, which is your choice, I dont. Then you add Andersson and roy, who don't have any place in an eichel trade. quick is a 35 year old goalie making 6 million per year, and as he is saving less than 90% of the shots against, that's a cap dump. Sure the 22 first is nice, but thats not enough, not even in the ballpark.

And I agree but I don’t see us getting the actual value for Jack. Which I would rather wait then and not rush to trade him in the next few weeks but the organization appears to want to rush things and this is an offer I can realistically see them getting. I hope I’m wrong.

Good lord me too. It sounds like the market is heating up, which is good for us. I dont think you can afford to lose that badly on a trade.
