********** NEW ADDED ROSTER PLAYERS TRADED FOR {or} SIGNED **********

~ GOALIE :
[UFA] - Linus ULLMARK #25 - Signs 1yr @ $2.25m Per :
- 27yr old Goalie, love his style & play in Net, has improved every yr in NHL, & could be a great 1A (or) 1B on a better team "IF" he can stay healthy. Takes a lil less for a better chance in Net w/ better team.
* {3} Younger Goalies to push Jarry : INGRAM (Trade), DELIA (Trade), & COMRIE (UFA)

~ FORWARDS :
[Trade] - L/RW- Filip FORSBERG #9 - 1yr @ $6m - (signs 3yr Extention @ $6.5m Per) :
- The EXACT RH-Winger that Sid needs (like Bergy has Pasta). A 6'-1"/ 205lbs Star that has Power, is Physical, is a Sniper, has Speed & Quickness, & will also go to the Dirty areas.

[Trade] - LW- Lawson CROUSE #67 - 1yr @ $1.53m (RFA) : The 6'-4" / 220lbs Unicorn, Top 9 Power Forward that needs a change & just coming into his prime hockey yrs @ just 23yrs old.

[Trade] - RW- Nathan BASTIAN #14 - (RFA) Signs 2yrs @ $850,k Per : Another 6'-4" / 210+lb Forward - The former 2nd Rdr is a bottom 6, 4th line RWer w/ upside that can hit hard & play a fast gm too.

~ DEFENSEMEN :
[UFA] - LHD- Jake McCabe #29 - 1yr @ $1.25m Per :
The 6'-1" / 210lb underrated LHD, will be Steal signing of off-season, Always thought McCabe played D like a Penguin (great stick on puck D & great 1st pass), & will be 100% after injury last yr.

[UFA] - RHD- Jason DEMERS #55 - 1yr @ $1.25m Per : 33yr old still has the legs, wants a chance to win, & was always good in own end. Would be a nice vet 3rd pairing w/ Mathy.

Replied to the other one as well. Full description doesn't help. Neither the 1st or Holloway are on the table for Rust. Those are only for game changing moves.... not adding complimentary players.

Crouse, Bastian, MacDermid, Khaira, & Ullmark

Look. you are trading away Poulin who is reportedly 6'3 220lbs.
And want to bring in that?
If you want skilled size, the first step is to not trade it away when you have it. Because of all those names listed there, he's the only one with potential of playing top 6 minutes.

Agreed. Rust is better than "complimentary."
Your trades are thoughtful and reasonable. Hate to lose Holloway, but if Ruhwedel is legit I think the Oilers might say yes.

You don't want MacDermid. Sure, he's a big body that won't be bullied, but he's actually terrible at hockey.

I can see the hawks making a trade like that, considering his contract security. Entwistle also brings some of that GRIT as a future bottom 6 player that also knows how to play with the puck.

I still don't see Poulin being ready till 22'-23 & only reason I traded him was for Forsberg who is worth it to me & need the help next yr.
Plus Also I got my fav prospect back in Holloway

I can see the hawks making a trade like that, considering his contract security. Entwistle also brings some of that GRIT as a future bottom 6 player that also knows how to play with the puck.

Thank you, I have always been a big believer in Entwistle as a prospect, a really smart young player, IMO

You don't want MacDermid. Sure, he's a big body that won't be bullied, but he's actually terrible at hockey.

LOL, The Pens will take anyone with size.... all we do is get bullied & beat up & drives me insane.

Agreed. Rust is better than "complimentary."
Your trades are thoughtful and reasonable. Hate to lose Holloway, but if Ruhwedel is legit I think the Oilers might say yes.

Thank You, Holloway is my favorite Prospect.... I wanted him so badly bf we traded our 1st Rdr last yr.

I think the kid is going to be a great pro.

He looked good in the few games he got at the end of the season. Was happy they were able to recoup some value from dumping Hossa. Considering he was a captain and a decent playoff performer in the OHL I can see him being a non-star impact player in a few years

I still don't see Poulin being ready till 22'-23 & only reason I traded him was for Forsberg who is worth it to me & need the help next yr.
Plus Also I got my fav prospect back in Holloway

look, that kind of thinking is going to have to end if this team is going to win another cup. We aren't finding 6'3 220lb guys who can play in the top 6 anywhere. Trading them away isn't the answer. Playing them is.

Aren't the Pens trying to dump Zuckers cap? Not because he's not good but because as you say he doesn't fit. Im not sure we would give up a top 50 pick + for a guy who won't make us considerably better. Our biggest weakness is Defence.

Id take anyone for Pens at this point, its so embarrassing to be a Pens fan.... The only players that ever jump into scrums is Sid or Letang (they are our "tough guys") lol.
Its the craziest stuff Ive ever seen on a hockey team in 35+ yrs of watching hockey.

Zucker still has crazy speed & is still good but just hasn't fit like most thought here & Plus we have so many needs & rite on cap.

He still is a legit top 6 winger, so there is still value

I like Poulin too but I got a better prospect back (IMO) back in Holloway.

Yah, Poulin is big but he isn't going to come out & be physically mature or be able to hit like a Crouse & Bastian is rite now

    he's already physically mature.
This kind of thinking is just so backwards. You realize guys go into other sports at 20 and hit right?
This is the kind of comment someone who never played sports makes.
They think age or teaching is what makes people hit. It has nothing to do with that, it's mentality. I've seen little guys run over much bigger guys who are puzz ies at 14 and 15 years old.
If you aren't scared to hit, you'll hit. And when you are 6'3 and 220lbs and your not scared to hit, you're good to go.
We aren't talking about 170lb player here. He's not Sprong getting back checked to the ground or POJ getting shoved around.
This is a kid who plays with an edge and has the size to beat up on people. He's been doing it in the CHL. Like every game up there he's taking a cross checking penalty letting the other team know, hey, get out my way.
But you seem to think every prospect is coming in like Jack Hughes getting run over.
That's just not the case. This mentality needs to go, as it's just tiring and limiting in the NHL. Have you learned nothing from teams continued success with bringing in younger players. From the weeding out of the older players the last few years.
Here are some facts. You aren't finding 6'3 220lbs in a guy with the ability to slot in the to 6 anywhere. It's just not happening. There are no FA like that. The best you can do is trade and no one is trading that unless they have no choice but to. You also don't have forever on this team. It's on borrowed time. 3 of your 4 centers are 34, 35, 37 years old next year.
What the hell is the point on waiting anymore. You won't have anything to build with in 1-2 years. You'll just be a rebuilding team....but it's ok Poulin will save us then. FFS want to talk about wasting a career. It will go to waste here as the team is in rebuild for basically all of it. If they are to get anything out of him, it's now.

it think it's directly the opposite.
Hell you got highschool kids at 16-17 years old blowing people up on football fields.....then there is you. "he isn't going to come out & be physically mature or be able to hit l"

    Just give it up.
That's the weakest shyt I've read on here all day.
Anyone who has ever played sports know this.
You think the 18-19 year old kids playing NCAA football aren't mature enough to hit too?
It's just pathetic that this is the mentality people on here have.
