Vancouver wouldn’t trade Hoglander for Rielly. That’s a million more than Foligno is worth. The D outside of the top pairing is vulnerable and we need a veteran to split with Jack and that’s can’t be an AHLer

Mikheyev isn't expansion draft eligible. One year of Reilly doesn't help the Canucks. Leafs shouldn't overpay Hyman, Foligno or Coleman with those contracts.

I don't think Toronto has that many issue. Other than they spent too much focusing on their top 6 forwards and didn't balance out their D and bottom 6 enough. Their goaltending isn't bad they just don't elevate their game enough in the playoffs. If they can free up money by trading one of the big 4 (IMO Marner or Nylander) for a top pairing RD and some good depth the Leafs should be just fine.
