Being a 20 year old and being very well trusted by none other than Rick Bowness is more of an accomplishment than Makar, Hughes and Dahlin will ever get. Put any of them with Comeau, Cogliano, Faksa and Oleksiak and make them play Rick Bowness's style of hockey and I guarantee you that there would be a massive difference in their play, and not a good one.

I don't want to be that guy, but Heiskanen had more playoff points last year than Marner has career playoff points, and he's a defensemen, and he's stuck with Blake Comeau not Auston Matthews (there's a pretty significant difference of goal scoring abilities).

if the leafs get past round 1 I have a feeling Marner would be putting up points like crazy. I feel he is one of those guys who once he gets more and more games in the points just start coming.
