I don’t see that trade with buffalo helping the Sabres at all. And even if they took it, Reinhart gets at least $7 million.

IMO they add a bit to the sabres trade but i dont see reinhart signing long term, hes gonna want to go to a cometitive team. his team has never finished above 6th in a division.

That's the best offer you're gonna get from anyone

Maybe but it sounds like he wants to be on the west coast so there's not much choice. Obviously the Canucks or any team for that matter trade for Reinhart unless he's gonna agree to a long term deal

the west coast thing has only been speculation. i would bet a hyper competitive athlete whose spent his whole career on the #1 biggest ****hole team wouldnt want to sign long term to another team thats currently in a bad place

A high first round pick in a wildcard draft, An obvious third or fourth line cap dump, and the prospect that I have seen Vancouver fans throwing into every single Canucks AGM I’ve seen on this website for the last week? Only the first round pick is worth anything to me. And that’s not a player who is going to play for the Sabres for a couple years.

I think he would sign long term in Van. It's his hometown and with the addition of him the Canucks are probably one good dman away from being a competitive playoff team

We’re not that bad. Considering he is from Vancouver and we’re a team moving the right way I think he absolutely resigns

Meh. I think they could get more. Our pick isn't as high as it was 2 weeks ago. However, Sabres fans still are a bit overly optimistic on what they think they can get.

I'm not a fan of the Ducks trade. Myers was arguably our best defenseman this year. Why move him, a decent prospect and a 2nd for a defenseman that's hardly any different (i'd argue had a worse year) and a cap heavy forward? It's not worth the headache to attempt to trade Myers right now. He had a really nice year.

Also, Motte isn't going anywhere. The 2nd alone is more than enough for Graves.

"moving the right way" is ... not correct though.
