Kadri is more of a pest than a goon. He definitely won’t be dropping the gloves with Wilson. A true goon will drop the gloves with anyone and might stand a chance against Wilson, Kadri won’t and doesn’t.

I agree, it’s more of a deterrent in terms of mutual destruction. If Wilson wants to hit ZAR in the face again, the caps are going to have to deal with kadri hitting one of their guys in the head.

there is literally no such thing as a Wilson deterrent. There never has been, there never will be. Colton Orr beat the tar out of Lucic and it never stopped him. Matt Cooke got his clock cleaned a few times, never stopped him.
And as far as 'revenge' plays, those dont work either. If WIlson hurts your guy, then your guy hurts one of their guys then Wilson will just go out and hurt a 2nd guy on your team.
