The wild would need to drop fiala or else boldy and the 1st. With eichels cap hit in the flat cap world his value drops significantly. Add on the injuries and everything and it will probably end up as 3 good pieces for him, but certainly not 5.

Minnys 1st and Buffs 2nd are only going to be a couple spots away. Min is likely going to lose a good D in the expansion draft so i figured get a return rather than lose him for nothing. Trade in my eyes looked like Dumba, Fiala, Boldy, 1st for Eichel and then Greenway for Thompson 2nd and 5th. That breakdown makes more sense trade wise

Do you realize how beat up Buffalo was this year? With a fully healthy team they do not come close to where they did this year. Before all the injuries they were only 4 points out of a playoff spot i believe and then it went downhill along with awful coaching

Games 7-10 was the only time BUF was .500 in the standings. Game 9 was the only time they were above .500. After Game 9 they had 2 wins in the next 26 games.

Totally agree. I do feel like he’ll be traded this offseason and while the wild would be a seemingly ideal destination for him, buffalo can get better offers from la or nyr. Mn being his preferred choice as it’s closer to competing than the other teams.

Tage Thompson Is just a body. He's not that good

He really turned the corner under Don Granato. The line he formed with Apslund and Casey Mittelstadt was one of the Buffalo’s best in the final third of the season. I would be a little surprised if they intended to trade him. I think they would like to keep that unit together.
