I've watched a fair lot of Devils games these past two years because of Gusev and while I agree Wood provides some unique positives on the flipside

His SKATR chart is mediocre at best

The charts factor in full context, a variety of key stats

Interesting how everyone seems to want Wood on their team while also calling him overrated when Devils fans say he'd cost a lot.

I don't really know anything about advanced stats. Can you show me and explain me Wood's charts?

IMO severson is the most underrated player on the devils. Guy is a true top pairing dman that doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.

Wood is just right if not overrated. Subban? Come on, he's been better this year but only because he was bad last year; he's right.

Underrated: Hughes, Sharangovich
Overrated: Johnsson, Merkley

Too much attention: Wood
Not enough attention: McLeod

Buy Low: Boqvist, Foote
Sell High: already sold ‘em

I don't think he is the most underrated but he's definitely up there. He was playing close to a Norris level at the start of the season before he got Covid

People have made it seem as if Subban doesnt even belong in the NHL after his performance last year.

I would agree that "just right" is ideal - he's just an average top 4 guy now.

Wood is underrated 100%. He has 14 goals, 19 points and he puts so much effort every night. He doesn't get enough credit. He's the Marcus Smart of the Devils

PK Is having a bounce back year. People think he's completely washed but he isn't which is why I consider him underrated. He's overpaid but not overrated

I disagree with Wood. We could sell high on him and he doesn't get enough credit. For too much attention put Murray or Butcher.

That's a fair argument. People also think he's a locker room cancer but he isn't anymore. He's now a big mentor for the young Devils players

Yes. Some people still consider him a "bust". Hughes is having an amazing year and not many people know that.
