It’s alright. I wish the pick was much much better. I know a couple of Hawks fans have wanted Borgstom.

Are we going to be able to get Borgstrom back to north america for next year?

Connolly will help us more than Wallmark will this year, can expose him in the expansion draft. The stillman for Carlsson swap is a little weird, but Carlsson was likely never going to get consistent time with Zadorov playing well and Beaudin and Vlasic coming through the system. I like Borgstrom as a sweetener and then a 7th round lottery ticket. Its definitely not a bad trade. Just kind of weird

I feel like we should have gotten more for taking 2 more years of Connely after this year at 3.5 mil per. I don't really care about Carlson or Wallmark and i'm fine taking the shot on Borgstrom as long as we are sure we can get him back to North America

I actually think this is a good trade for Stan and the Hawks. Carlsson didn't have a place or future with this team, and Connelly, after a change of scenery, could do well playing on the right with Kubalik. Borgstrom... Well, let's see how that goes. Well done, Stan!

Pick could've been better but not a bad move for the hawks if borgstrom comes over.

Carlsson and stillman are about equal.
Only a 7th for wallmark but he wasn't even cracking the lineup.

Yeah, we probably couldve, but maybe EU scouting saw a lot they like in him playing in Finland this year and think he's worth it. Ultimately not a trade im going to lose sleep over
