Zajac has always been the player we had go up against the other teams best player. In this case, Sid. Its almost liek hes worth a minus goal for other team. If he's on your squad (Isles, Boston for example) he cant defend against Sid.

Are you sure the Hawks need MORE LDs? If we’re going to trade Zad and Strome I’d prefer to find a top 6 forward or some higher end prospects as the NHL roster is bulging with rookies and blossoming talent. RW2 is a big hole as is LD1. Other than that, I’d prefer picks and prospects for trades.

Well...there’s more than one way to skin a cat. I don’t disagree the LDs aren’t blowing it up. I’d love to see Zadorov and De Haan gone but would like to see what Beaudin and Carlsson can do as well.

A. some of these trades are just awful for the penguins.
B. you already have a 3C. This fan base is just going to have to get over the fact that Blueger is your 3C. That the Buzzsaw line is very effective and they aren't going to stop giving them minutes.
Which means the only thing this team is really trying to figure out still is it's 4th line.
Which should have been figured out by now as Gaudreau should be the guy there now. He PKs like a champ, he's fast got some bite and a little offensive pop.
Odds you see this team waste assets like this is slim.
