As a Red Wings fan I wouldn’t trade Mastrosimone. Boston might do it for the pick alone and keep Kampfer as depth just in case. Calgary might consider it if they want OFD more than a DFD, and he’s younger too, but I don’t know their situation. Not a bad few ideas to throw out there and see what sticks though

They have one of the best d-corps. They have Patteryn and Renauf on the taxi squad and Timmins available. If EJ stays on LTIR then possibly, but no way they trade Timmins and 2nd for pure rentals one who is hurt in Bernier.

If the Avs stay with what they are doing the back up is going to get 3 maybe 4 more starts, they aren’t going to give up good pieces for that. Side question what’s the status on Bernier?
