I know Danault declined a 5m year deal in the summer. However, he has not put up the same points and I do not think many teams are going to sign him long term with the cap staying flat.

the eriksson trade is fine since we are going to have ample empty cap room and his contract expires in one year

Believe me i would love to have eichel i just dont think im going to count on him coming here until he demands a trade. Theres no reason for buffalo to trade him until that point
