We don’t need Dermott. I’d prefer Amirov or Sandin ( I know Leafs fans really value Robertson so I don’t mention him ) but if it’s the only prospect they’re willing to give. It’s not entirely awful. I’m just not very high on Liljgeren.

He has averaged about 23 goals per 82 over almost 500 Games. He has averaged 19 over his last 2 full + this year. That is a bad trend.

No offence but you are not going to get that much for Rakell. Good player but people aren’t going to pay that price. If you get a top 4 D you lose your 1st rounder amd vice versa. I’d say 1st- and prospect.

Muzzin was acquired for 2 B prospects and a 1st with no retention and 1.5 years left on his deal.

Forwards are often worth less than Dman, unless that forward is a superstar of Hall caliber or greater. So yeah dont see Rakell being worth all that. Yes he will be expensive but Dubas wont be giving all that for him.
