Holloway’s strengths are forechecking they need him on the LW he will be groomed for connors wing because he can skate. I agree he could play 3C but they also have Ryan McLeod who is being groomed for that role and is really gifted at transporting the puck. I also expect them to bring in a legit 3C so they don’t have to rely on Holloway to do more than 3LW for now.

Got enough of those. To be honest there isn't really anything EDM has that works for DeBrusk outside of someone like Nurse. Certainly none of the trades you've made for him would work for Boston

24yr old LW w/ a P/GP that puts him around 45pts a year and a G/GP that's good for 24G over 82gp....and that includes his massive slump this year. I'd say he holds more value than you think

For nurse you would be sending back Marchand. Defensemen have high value. You are in need of a second pairing LD who is cost controlled and have many good wingers that’s called a hockey trade. You are out of line for saying anything more than change the 3rd to a second or take out benson and change to a first.

Lol EDM fans now want the moon for Nurse. I remember seeing him in so many Oiler fans trades this summer and I had to defend him as underrated and a good top pairing d-man.

As for me being out of line, Jones plays 14 minutes a night and 6 other d-men on EDM have a higher ATOI. Benson is a year younger than JDB and has 7 NHL games under his belt. Your offering nothing that a contending team would want for one if their young 20+ goal 45pt wingers.

I would have traded nurse if Klefbom was still around and he didn’t improve his play. He used to cause at least 1 goal a night because of a stupid decision but now he has reigned that in.

I think Holland will slow play him like always, play a full year in the A.

Nurse has been a true first pairing d man this year, something the oilers have needed since 2007. After developing him for years I doubt they would trade him for a second line winger.

Holloway has played 2 years in the NCAA with a former NHL coach he could be ready for bottom line duty.

It's possible, he been great this year. I think he would have to wow them in camp to stay the year.
