it's not the CHL, points do not come easy in the NCAA. It's much better hockey than what you see in the CHL. Most players come out of the NCAA older, That's what 3-4 years of college does. That's why it's much better hockey than the CHL and the NHL has been flooded with NCAA players the last decade. A record 325 former college players skated in the NHL in 2018-19, comprising 33% of the league. A number that keeps rising.
