Why would a rebuilding team (Buffalo) trade away 4 futures?
Not to mention Kane wouldn’t waive to play there.

why would you not, you might lose a 1 maybe 2 of Elite kane but you just replenished your whole future, Dach, Cozens is an incredible 1-2, you have established young wingers, and a solid D your window would open right back up.
This is a teribble deal for Buf

It's an interesting offer despite taking on one of the worst contracts in the league with Skinner, but doubt the Hawks would accept and or Kane waive. Hawks are rebuilding but turning things around quickly enough that they are going to look for players who provide an immediate impact and Kane provides that and would leave a massive hole at RW where the Hawks are already short a top 9 guy on RW. Reinhardt, Cozens, Skinner and (2) 1sts. One first to get ride of Skinner, Cozens and Reinhardt and a 1st for Kane.

Decent Eichel trade, the Habs probably won’t offer that much, the black hawks trade seems bad for both sides.

enlighten me on why chicago does that
People are quick to say Chicago says no.. But with 4 solid futures.. they definately think about it.. no one else is gonna offer that up for Kane!
Kane maybe waives his NMC to go to his Hometown. With 2 rings, his priority isn't necessarily winning anymore.
For Buffalo, they essentially trade Eichel and Cozens for Kane, Strome and Chytil ... while also Getting rid of Skinner awful contract.
How is that a bad outcome?
