Hi your friendly Coyotes fan here. I know you don't watch our team and you just see "good player on Arizona" and assume he belongs to the Leafs like you all used to do with OEL, but I'm here to tell you the Coyotes are not trading Garland. He's 24, demonstrably the teams best player, the heart and soul of the fan base and a cornerstone piece for the team. It's pointless to put him, Dvorak, or Chychrun in any trades. It's just not gonna happen. But since you took the time to make this one, let's break it down.. The Coyotes trade their 24 year old budding super star who only makes $750k this year for Alex Galchenyuk who is a player the SAME Coyotes literally traded away less than 2 seasons ago, a fringe NHL defenseman prospect in Liljegren, who while only 21 has had a "troubled" development to say the least, and then a 1st round pick that is likely to be in the back back end of the round, and 2nd rounder. Tell me, if the Coyotes offered a similar package for Nylander would you think it was wise or fair? Probably not.
