Leafs not trading Lilijgren for Staal and I would rather have Hutchinson then Hutton.

Skinner for Bobrovsky seems pretty smart for Buffalo. But Buffalo might have to trade Ullmark to Florida for someone to balance it.

Probably need to add some pieces, and reliant on Montour coming with a pre-signed, reasonable deal.
Thompson seems like a player who the Bruins could turn into a productive player.

I think it's the only way out for Buffalo. I think you frame the conversation with Florida and say, you're paying 10Mil to play a guy half the time. Why not pay a guy less to play more.

Went in looking to see who was worth an Ullmark, but found Connolly on the taxi squad after clearing waivers, and I think he's worth Hutton.

Even then Boston doesn't really need a RHD (I understand he plays LD as well, but we have a lot of guys on the left side). I saw a lot of Thompson at Uconn and the handful of times we chatted he's was very nice and was happy to chat, but he wouldn't crack Boston's lineup. Meanwhile Boston is giving up a young winger whose shown he can put up 20+ goals. If Boston trades DeBrusk is going to be for something that helps fill a void this year....neither of the pieces you're offering do that.

Fair enough. Same vein of player, maybe I swap that trade for Virtanen from Canucks. Basically just looking for a younger wing who can do a bit of everything.

Bobrovsky is NOT waving his no-move clause in South Florida to move to BUFFALO. I doubt he'd do it if BUF was in first place!

We don't even need Ullmark. No way we give up Bean either. Right now, him and Pesce are our best defenseman.

Skjei and Slavin played real well against Tampa Bay. IMO

I'd actually probably rate our defense RIGHT NOW: Pesce, Bean, Slavin, Hamilton, Skjei, Fleury. Hamilton's been taking bad penalties and giveaways recently, yet he is a good PP1 quarterback.

You would be adding to Risto, not the other way around. Plus, the Flyers don't need another offensive D man that struggles really bad defensively.

Was glad Hamilton took a couple of those dumb penalties.
