Description

Patrick is a wildcard for Philly. If they decide they don't have the patience to see if he can rebound from his migraine issues, Patrick might be a worthwhile gamble for the Senators. Have to say I'm not sure what his value would be to Philly or how much another team would be willing to gamble that he can fulfill his potential as a top 6 centre but I feel like a trio of second round picks wouldn't be a bad place to start.

I think that’s a reasonable ask but I think the Flyers still believe in Patrick and rightly so. He’s playing like a guy that hasn’t played in a year, not a guy that’s got migraine issues.

I probably wouldn't do that tbh. Not saying Patrick is bad, or even that he isn't worth that necessarily. I wasn't super big on his upside even before he missed a full year. Right now I'm not sure he's more than a 3rd line C, and I just don't think that's really an area the Sens need to address short or long term. Especially if you believe in Stützle as a C long term.

I love Dadonov don't get me wrong, but man I was so disappointed when Ottawa didn't get Toffoli. Would have been the perfect piece for this team, and that contract is great.

Dadonov is the equivalent of a spot up shooter. But his play with the puck is very meh

I think he's added a lot on zone entries. He gets in the zone and goes to work. Can really shoot the puck, but he's not very creative.

Pinto might actually be a fair ask value wise but that's so tough because of how safe his projection to the NHL seems to be. Might be too much of a sure thing to ship out for such a risk in Patrick, I'd probably pass if that was the ask.

Yeah his slow start is the reason why I thought he'd be a good buy low candidate depending on the price, just need a hardcore Flyers homer to give me a ballpark of value so I can get the idea out of my head lol
