Id be down for that deal. I think Kulak would fit Isles system better though. Mete wouldnt help that blueline but definitely has better upside than Kulak. He'd be better suited for a more offensive system. IMO

Not sure if you’re familiar with Byron Baders prospect model, but it gives Aho a 69% NHLer probability and a 29% star probability (which is pretty good). According to the isles beat writer trotz doesn’t see him as an NHLer...

Agree. He was good with Leddy in the playoffs. Maybe put them back together? Also, Mayfield's deficiencies are becoming apparent without Toews around. I wonder if they breakup the Pelly-Pulock to balance things out. I thought I saw Pelly on with Dobson a couple times at even strength last night. Anyway, I think the Isles need to find something on the trade market soon.

I'm very into this deal. I'd do it if MTL adds a little. They have three 4th round picks, throw us one of those.

I've been thinking this a lot. Leddy-Pulock was not that strong of a pairing but it could end up being better than Leddy-Mayfield. If we trade Mayfield we could have a new defense of:

New D-Pulock
Pelech-Dobson
Leddy-Greene
