I think the NJ trade is bad for Toronto

I think the Vancouver trade is bad for Vancouver, especially with Rielly being due for a raise.

The Nashville trade is really quite bad for Nashville.

McKenzie Blackwood is cemented into NJD's future.

Reilly is a member of the core why would you trade him hes also been here for so long. It annoys me when one person has a bad game on the Leafs and Leafs fans are comming on here and making silly trades just cuz they have a bad run its annoying.

I don't think it's because of that. I think it's because he's a really good expiring UFA that might not (and I don't think he will) resign with the Leafs.

Nah I think he will even tho hes prob gonna ask for 6 mill+ nut by then the cap should be going up again so we should be fine. Cant see Reilly playing anywhere else besides the leafs you can replace him.

Just for the reason that TOR wouldn't have anyone to run the PP they shouldn't move Rielly.

He's also the only one here capable of playing 23-24-25-26 minutes every night, where as Muzzin, Ekholm, Brodie and Holl are more in the 20-21-22 minutes range

It is a stretch but Devils aren't trading their young goalie and 2 solid young players for a goalie wih 1 year left and Nylander who is a one-dimensional player

The Devils have a genuine need for a top-6 winger / producer like Nylander (or Boeser), but agreed that the cost cannot be Blackwood. What other assets could the Devils work a deal around (Zacha, Mercer, etc.)?

Keep Palmieri and Holtz is 1-2 years away. If Palmieri doesn't resign, wait for Mercer who is 1-3 years away. While waiting for Mercer, trade for JVR, Pacioretty, or Killorn. I doubt the Leafs or Canucks would be willing to trade Boeser/Nylander
