Most Sabres fans are fine with a dump. Problem was a long term dump and retention. It’s not our money, but doubt Pegula would be happy spending 12ishM for Hall and Byron combined when it’s all said and done. I like this deal for Buf. Good job

Idk if he wasn’t happy. He certainly wasn’t good though, for Buf or for WPG. Glad he finally is carving a nice little career. Seems like a good kid

If you think the current edition of Hall is a difference maker, yea, maybe you make the deal. But is Hall really needed?
Strange, many Sabres said the Leaf offers were not sufficient but IMO this offer is less than the way too high Leaf offers.

Hall is that difference maker missing in mtl. could we add another D-man? sure. but besides that, they have depth on wing, center, net, and defense. they have multiple 20 goal scorers. they need 1 difference maker to be a cup contender.
