Believing these B level prospects will be anything more than Drouin at the nhl level is quite the projection. Gotta hand it to you tho I love the player bias that you think they're Shelbys and he's a ECO haha

They aren't b level prospects. You are either trolling, or believe the bs you are selling. Adam Beckman & Matt Boldy are two of the best prospects right now

Greenway has been a beast. Clearly y0u don't watch wild hockey or you would know that

Everyone watches drouin. Alot of Montreal fans have been talking crap about him including you

Nobody cares about wins in the West either. MN isn't the ones trying to sell anything here. It's been a solid no from every MN fan to this deal. You've got an Ecoboost Mustang in Drouin and are trying to sell him for a Shelby price.

Love the analogy.

Putting Boldy in the same class as Beckman is trolling. Almost as bad as saying Greenway is a beast and Drouin isn't good, when one has 220pts in 360+ games and the other has 64 in 170...

Nobody cares about Wins in the west? Ughhh what?? OK so let's write to Gary and have him remove all their playoff hopefuls and distribute them to the other 3 divisions since they don't care lol

Boldy needs to come the other way

He really doesn't. Why? Cause Minnesota doesn't need what they are getting here, especially at this price

No, it's just saying both are really good. not putting them in same class. keep drouin then. Wild don't need drouin when wild have like a 1000 wingers much less hundred lw's

Boldy is really good, Beckman is good. But I get it, you like the player and hope he turns into a Drouin type down the line when you actually need LW's 👍

Feel free to call Gary. He'll just say "I know".

They (well management at least) don't care. The top-3 teams are good, the rest aren't. Finishing 4th in the West is worse than finishing 5th (I'm saying this as the one Wild fan on here that wants MN to get a center and make the Playoffs). All it does is lead to a 1st round exit and no chance at the lottery. It's like saying OTT (management at least) cares about winning.

MN needs one position: center. Basically any other trade, other than selling the rentals, will be a no from the fans on here and the GM.

For the first time in about a decade MN has a prospect pool that isn't a tire fire. They aren't built to win this year, even a casual fan can see that just by looking at the center depth. They are decently setup for the expansion draft. They don't need d-men, non-elite wings, or goalies anytime in the near future. There really isn't much that would move the needle for the Wild this year short of a 1C falling into their laps somehow.

In the last 2+ years MN has sold off the wingers of Granlund, Zucker, Nino, Donato/Coyle, and Kunin.

Wild don't need LW's for like the millionth time. Jason Zucker who is a whole lot better than Drouin was traded. You don't listen. Montreal can keep him, & his contract

I just agreed with you and yet you're still on some sort of rage trip. Dude cool your jets

And you just lost whatever credibility you had left saying Zucker is a whole lot better than Drouin rofl

So what you said before about nobody in the west caring about winning was wrong then no? O__o
Clearly the top 3 teams are very interested in wins...
Yeah not sure what's going on with Rossi, but the wild definitely need more Centers

Rossi had post-COVID medical issues.
The Wild aren't a top-3 team. It's a clear separation in the quality of teams. Even the top-3 teams know they are a lock for the Playoffs this year so it's not a need to win every game. Unless it's COL/Vegas not many casual fans would sit and watch any of the West games. The other 3 Divisions don't really care who wins in the West other than for possible draft positioning. So it's pretty fair to say nobody cares who wins in the West.

This year is closer to the CHL leagues than the normal NHL. Who scores the most goals/points, wins the most games, whatever might as well be the OHL caring what happens in the Q for anything short of the Memorial Cup as far as Playoff teams are concerned.

The North Division are fun games to watch, but it doesn't matter to me who wins or loses. I watch more games from this Division than any other, it's just eye candy.

I enjoy carolina games and columbus games this year, always exciting and plenty of things going on behind the scenes
