Don’t pretend Mantha wouldn’t be what the Oil have been looking for next to McDavid in a goal scoring power forward they hoped for in Lucic and Neal. He’d score 30 every year. Has 40 potential. Only 26 in his prime and cost controlled 4 years. And don’t ignore getting rid of dead weight Neal contract wouldn’t be great. Mantha is better than Josh Anderson who’s tearing it up now that he’s in a better situation. Mantha could be the player who solidifies the top 6 and takes them to next level in playoffs.
